Temporary 'dge Protection Systems (SPPB) are mainly used to prevent people and objects falling to a lower level from rooftops, edges, stairs and other areas where protection is required. Temporary edge protection or other fall protection devices are required when the fall height is greater than 2 metres. The JAR SPPB is a Class A system so the system’s range of application is for horizontal surfaces with a maximum inclination of 10°.
